Evidence before assumptions
Build the system model, test the failure conditions, and let the evidence narrow the cause.
DIAGNOSEAbout · Stingrey
A systems-first technical practice shaped by aircraft maintenance, power generation, industrial manufacturing, themed entertainment, and hands-on machine development.
THE FOUNDER
Rey is a controls and automation specialist and U.S. Air Force veteran whose work has consistently lived where software meets machinery. His background spans C-17A aircraft maintenance, generator field service, multi-site industrial controls, ride and show systems, motion, embedded development, and CNC equipment.
Stingrey was created to bring that range to difficult technical problems without losing the practical viewpoint of the operators and technicians who live with the equipment every day.
Safety, documentation, fault isolation, and return-to-service thinking.
Electrical testing, rotating equipment, commissioning, and outage execution.
Modernization, drives, reliability, and support across multiple facilities.
Ride, show, animatronic, and specialized equipment where repeatability matters.
WORKING PRINCIPLES
Good technical work should produce more than a temporary repair. It should create a clearer system, a supportable correction, and useful knowledge for the people who operate it next.
Build the system model, test the failure conditions, and let the evidence narrow the cause.
DIAGNOSEFollow the problem across software, controls, power, networks, feedback, and mechanics.
INTEGRATEFavor corrections that technicians can understand, maintain, recover, and document.
STABILIZETranslate technical detail into decisions that operators, managers, and specialists can use.
